Len Munsil: Still A Liar, and A Hypocrite Too
Len Munsil, or Len Dunsil as I'm thinking about referring to him from now on really bristles at the suggestion that he's a zealot.
Check out his blog entry from September 15:
We received this curious broadside on the night of our victory from Barry Dill, one of Janet Napolitano's key advisers:
"Over the next eight weeks, we are confident that Len Munsil will be exposed for the inexperienced, out-of-the-mainstream zealot that he truly is."
Wow. Maybe the reporters just didn't write down the civil, gracious comment we would expect from the leader of our state. You know: "We congratulate Len on his primary victory and look forward to a spirited debate on the issues." I'm sure that's what they meant to say.
But much more revealing is this -- a simple Christian faith is defined as zealotry by Janet Napolitano's mouthpiece.
That kind of over-the-top rhetoric makes it pretty clear how Janet really sees things. At the same time, it raises plenty of questions about her new-found, election-year interest in visiting megachurches filled with "zealots." Genuine interest in spiritual matters or cynical exploitation of the faith community? Only God knows.
You may be a lot of things in this world Len, a so-called public policy expert & conservative organizational entrepreneur, a lawyer, a journalist, an author, a prodigious breeder and proud father of eight beaming future Christocrats, a witless boob and promoter of intrusive moral fascism and flat-earth irrationality - but you are in no way shape, or form merely a man of, "simple Christian faith."
While I don't in any way share their views, Proud Godless Heathen Sodomite that I am, I know people that have simple Christian faith, to include friends, family, former co-workers and sometime current employers, but you sir, are no simple Christian.
Simpleminded - mos' definitely but not simple.
You see Len, simple Christians, the real ones anyway, not the ones who throw their faith in your face every chance they get, don't go around saying shit like, "I'm a Christian, and you should be too, or you're gonna burn in Hell." And they sure as shit don't concern themselves with people's private lives, like what positions they fuck their husbands/wives in, whether they want to gamble or not, who they choose to love, and what a woman can or cannot do with her own fucking body.
No sir, you can bitch and whine all you want about how your so-called simple Christianity is being unfairly labeled as zealotry but you will never, ever be the equal of real Christians who are more concerned for really helping people - like helping feed, cloth and shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and help the terminally ill die with dignity - than they are with moral grandstanding and shoving their view of right and wrong down people's throats.
And as for the hypocrisy, well....I find it pretty fucking funny that a guy who spent so much time, money and energy heading an organization that, among other things, promotes abstinence before marriage actually gave his own wife a ride on the baloney pony (and got her pregnant to boot!) before their union had been properly sanctified in the all-seeing eyes of Your Lord and Savior.
