Fact: "Several hundred pounds" of military-like explosives were discovered missing in New Mexico earlier this week.
Fact: A, exhaustive search conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms over the past several days has turned up nothing. The ATF is now admitting that the explosives may have been missing for as many as 5 days before anyone noticed that they were gone.
Fact: The quantity of explosives taken are, according to the ATF, enough to level a building. Despite this, the ATF is saying that there has been nothing they've seen that suggests a link to terrorism.
Fact: Also included in the materials that were taken were 250 pounds of deta sheets - paper-like explosives that can easily be concealed in books or magazines and don't show up on metal detectors.
Fact: It's 2 days before Christmas, and this story has still failed to attract much, if any, coverage by the mainstream media.
